2012.03.14 - PALEFACE GO COASTAL

It seems like it's been ages since I visited my old stomping grounds down on the south coast, and now we'll be doing it as a band! Paleface have organised a show at the Royal Family Hotel in Pt Elliot for Friday the 13th of April... wooooooo, spooky... We've invited some of the local talent to join us and with the holidays and all happening at the same time, it should be an excellent show. Hope to see you all there!

2011.12.17 - FESTIVE AND BUSY

It's looking to be a fairly busy month, already three shows and now another two added! Two Fridays at the West Thebarton Hotel. We're holding the fort all night so we're hoping to bring a few extra surprises into the show so come on down and get the spirit of the season in ya, or get Christmassy, drunk or something. Thanks to all the crew at the Squatters, that place is becoming 'the' band pub. it may be a little rough on the edges but there's regular live music there; jam nights, rehearsals, all sorts of stuff. It's been interesting and we'll be back there for sure. And thanks also to Mistral and her art/music show at the Worldsend the lads from Hellbound And Proud (I think) were really, really good.

2011.12.04 - RETURN TO THE SQUATTERS

Impressions have been made already as Paleface return to the Forresters & Squatters Arms this coming Thursday. It is a short notice show but, with a little effort, it doesn't have to be a short show.

I've finally taken time out of my day to touch up this site a little bit. There's no bells, whistles, or flashing lights, but it does work... so far. It'll change again later when I get some brighter ideas about what's important here.

2011.07.06 - A GOOD START

The comeback show was a success! Thanks to everyone who showed up, we couldn't ask for more.

We also played at a band competition over at the Gaslight Tavern on Saturday; we'll be back there on Saturday 13th August for the first week of the semi-finals. They want a stack more bands for their comp so if you've got a band and are willing to compete for some pretty nice prizes (there's one of everything... well kinda), and even get paid(!!!) then hit the pub up. They're in Brompton, nearly directly behind the Gov.

2011.05.25 - PALEFACE HAVE REFORMED!!!

Amazing as it seems, Paleface have formed up again and now have a working formula which means they'll be back in action quicker that you can learn to swear in three different languages so keep your eyes and ears peeled and open and wait for our thunder... which is just around the corner...

BIOGRAPHY

Paleface are a rock band. Bass and guitar driven, with strong, clear vocals leading the way.
They boast a history of big shows with a large and growing collection of tight, hard, rock songs, laced with darkness, riddled with dementia and full of sharp, barbed hooks... so watch out.
Their live show has always been energetic and the lads pride themselves on a good, well-played performance that holds people stunned.
The stage has been loaded with theatrics while they play in the past. From bloody psychopaths to over-dressed pimps, and for the future... well, let's just say it's an open canvas and sure to entertain.
The most recent line up of this non-stopping monster includes Brendan Lundstrom (bass), Vince Bayley (drums), Chris Imgraben (the new axe) and original members, Dion Klaver (vocals) and Phillip Jones (guitar/vocals).
Basically, the band's musical tastes range from Black Sabbath and Powderfinger to Queens Of The Stone Age and Sevendust, just to name a few of the more closely-relatable, bands.
Back in 1999, when the band had just formed as a three piece, they were in the thick of Adelaide, winning band competitions and playing shows alongside bands like Ungkas, Tidal, Borderland, Circle Clan, Psycho Green and one of Adelaide's greater exports, Fruit.
This time around, their maturity will take them further...
